Hi everyone~
just a random collection of stuff i've been keeping track on so far

- TANK's new album
I think TANK deserves to be permanently on my list of favourite artists. His new album in no way was a disappointment. Possibly because I've always been biased somehow towards his style. But in this album I feel like he's expanded his style, which, combined with the fact that his voice is so unique and soothing, just makes me love him even more XD Seriously, people out there, this is one of the most underrated singer/songwriters I've ever known. He's written songs for S.H.E and some theme songs too so check those out :DDDD

- Super Junior @ Golden Melody Awards
LOL did anyone find it kind of funny how a group of 13 people (Super Junior - KiBum + Ariel Lin) walked on stage to present two awards, but only Han Geng and Ariel Lin spoke fluent Mandarin? Well I guess it's just the excitement of them being on stage. I personally really liked it when Hsiao Hung Jen went on stage to accept the award on behalf of Martin Tan. He takes out his MASSIVE piece of paper and in the background you can see LeeTeuk laughing and I think KangIn gasps. In the middle of reading from his paper I love the part where he said, "...my children.......not MY children, teacher's children!!" And further into the speech half of Super Junior crowds around him to add pressure although they probably have no idea what is written on the paper.....It kind of makes me happy that Super Junior is being so friendly with a Taiwanese artist they've never met X]

- Siwon, DongHae and Ariel Lin
Speaking of Super Junior, did anyone see the music video with the three of them? It was simple and sweet X] I'm happy they weren't trying to be too big-budgetted (if that's a word). I heard that Ariel was a Korean major at University so it'd probably be really cool to hear them converse fluently together.

- Hsiao Hung Jen and Ji Jia Song and comments on Yue Le Bai Fen Bai
So because of the Golden Melody Awards I learned about Hsiao Hung Jen after trying to figure out the middle character of his name from the super-pixelated video I was watching, only to find out someone mentioned his name at the bottom in the video comments ^^;; I youtube-d him, and found this video of him and Ji Jia Song on Yue Le Bai Fen Bai which is officially one of my favourite shows on earth. Seriously, Xiao Zhu and Xiao Gui are the best duo ever XD Not to mention they always get the best guests to go on their show, but more on that later. Ji Jia Song's appearance (and Hsiao Hung Jen's, too because he composes his own music and lyrics) made me realize how many people actually work behind-the-scenes in the entertainment industry but never get too much recognition. I personally think it'd be really cool to be able to compose, except that'd never happen because I suck at playing music, let along creating it for others to perform.
More about Yue Le Bai Fen Bai? Sure! I respect Xiao Zhu for not only being able to dance (and I guess singing? I know he can sing, but his voice just isn't my style) but to be able to do an entertaining show. I also appreciate his multicultural approach to the fans, especially when they come from elsewhere. But most of all, the way he interacts with Xiao Gui is probably one of the most amusing things to come out of this show. What's also impressive is that even though their show looks like it's on a pretty small scale set, the guests are still just as impressive. Even guests from overseas come on their show (not only Chinese stars but Korean and Japanese people too XP like Morning Musume and Shinee and the lead actor and actress of BOF) If I had the time, I'd link a bunch of videos, but now that i think of it, you guys are smart enough to youtube them XP

I feel like i had a WHOLE LOT MORE to talk about....
but now that i think about it, some of the topics might bore some of you, since not everyone appreciates my rambles (not everyone meaning 99.9999999999% of the internet population out there XD)
I'll ramble some more when i have time and am not rushing to go to bed XD

The Hong Kong show called 味分高下 went to Korea
and F.T. Island were there!!!!!
before i only watched this show sometimes
but now i'm going to be watching it intensely when the next season airs
the bad thing is that HK shows here air a long time after they're aired in Hong Kong
so i'll have to wait a long time........

Anyway, it was funny XDDD
They just keep on repeating anything the MCs say

Team Hong Kong was so hyper though XDDD especially Patrick
I bet FTI thinks HK people are weird now XDDD

ok WHY does this keep on happening to me?!
Oh Won Bin of FT Island is leaving the group ;_;
and another guy called Song Seung Hyun will fill up that empty spot

i feel like i always end up liking the groups that are unstable/made up of random people/leave/disband....
a curse? or coincidence?

but here's a kind of thought
i wouldn't have minded so much if Won Bin stayed and Song Seung Hyun joined, but of course, that is practically impossible because the only reason they brought in Seung Hyun is because Won Bin left
i also wouldn't have minded so much if Won Bin left and they kept it a four member band, except the band would be a little lacking of another guitar
so either way i guess it wouldn't work ;_;

but i'm really curious as to why Won Bin left
here are some things i've gathered and thought of
- apparently people were saying Won Bin wanted to pursue a solo career
- some other people said that Won Bin had wanted attention, which he wasn't given a lot of while in the band
- now i read something else that Won Bin's style of music clashed with the group's style. This is something to think about. What would you do if your band was playing a kind of music that you didn't seem to like that much?
- another thing that i read in threads was that jaejin, jonghun and minhwan were bullying won bin. Now that i find quite strange....teasing would be more believable. But bullying? If the bullying was that harsh, how would they have even been able to get along on screen? Some people would say, "That's their job; they HAVE to look like they're one huge happy family," but i'm thinking it's not that easy sometimes....Ok now i read somewhere else and they said the bullying was a rumour and that it wasn't true >.< I personally think that's more credible (hey i said that already i really need to stop repeating myself >.>)

looks like i'm going to have to go through another stage of shock
although this stage of shock is starting to decrease in intensity
first Taiyo, then Asaka, and now WonBin
i know, they're not even from the same country, but it still has a kind of effect
i find i always end up liking groups like F.T. Island and NEWS that were created from people who didn't know each other that well
F.T. Island members were chosen from an audition
and NEWS was just randomly stuck together
and Ya-Ya-yah ended up disbanding despite being together for 5 years

has Won Bin's departure made him even more famous?
i've found that ever since i found out about Won Bin's leave and the regrouping of F.T. Island,
i've wanted to listen to more F.T. Island songs
what kind of impact is Won Bin's leave having on fans?

I've been thinking

it seems a little disorganized
but the thing is, i have a feeling it's so disorganized b/c of all the icon posts i have up
i don't really know if i should delete them or not

school has started :DDD (T_T)
this term is the busiest...especially since:
- i'm on the badminton team and there are SO MANY GAMES O.O (i hate to say it, but i'm complaining about badminton XP)
- my piano exam is at the end of the month DDD: and i don't really want to fail b/c i'm getting busier and busier at school
- term two is the busiest at school in general because there are no exams so the teachers give more work and assignments XP

of course, if i continue to be hectic throughout the holidays then those hobbies are a no-no
but......those seem to be decent hobbies XD

Wanna hear a random story?
i thought that maybe i should change my layout just for fun
so i worked around and found some cool layouts
but when i applied them
i realized that my former entries would not fit in them
b/c of the table width
and that got me quite frustrated
so then i changed it back
but now that i change it back
i think,"hey, it's not thaaaaat bad ; ]"
so i think i'll be sticking w/ this layout for some time XD

it was kinda cool to find out that he's back in the entertainment industry
and it was also kinda cool to watch him from another POV

have you noticed that even though he's been in the agency for not long
he already has the chance to act in a butai?
now compare that to JE
there is NO WAY some kid who joined for like a year would be able to have so much screentime
(unless that kid was like Tegoshi reincarnated but more super o.O)
but yeah
in his blog he seems very "real"
i mean, compared to let's say, a junior with a blog,
juniors and probably the debuted idols too
seem to have very much controlled actions
maybe it's because JE just seems to big and glamorous
so it may not be as friendly as we think.....?
well i have a feeling Asaka's new agency may be a little smaller and cozier
b/c he actually takes pictures with people like the director of his butai
and also, Asaka mentioned that he read ALL of the comments XD
now, i don't think i'd see that coming from a Johnny very often XP

school is really stressful this year
i have nine subjects
and they're all non-semestered -_-
so that's pretty tough
9 exams at Christmas

P.S.1
TAT i'm sooo depressed right now
my history project is so crap it's not even funny
it was crap to begin with b/c i have problems cutting straight and so all the pictures do NOT have straight edges
about half an hour after i glued my pics to the bristol board
i read on the sheet that i had to MOUNT MY PICTURES ON A PIECE OF CONSTRUCTION PAPER -_-
so i had to carefully take my pictures off the bristol board (wasn't very successful, mind you)
and continue to have problems cutting straight when i was cutting the construction paper for my frame -_-
and both the printers in my house couldn't be on b/c of certain reasons
so yeah
too bad the teacher didn't give me the marking scheme
so i don't know how much the display component is worth
i'm going to get a low mark on it
definitely ;_;
i'm wondering if i should reprint all my pictures and do my display over again
but the thing is
it's quite time consuming
and i do have a number of tests this coming week
maybe i'll just have to hope that nobody notice the paper that stuck to the board when i was ripping pictures off (which is highly unlikely - EVERYONE is going to notice it)

now that i got my history project fixed
then i feel a little better
but i don't feel so good about the math test i failed today
it's not for school
just for Saturday math class
i totally blanked out
we have weekly quizzes like this
this is the first time i've ever blanked out on a math test
at least i went home and finally understood with the help of my dear daddy X] (I LOVE YOU PAPA!!)
but the teacher is going to be quite disappointed
by the looks of it i think a lot of other people didn't get it either X(
but that doesn't make me feel any better >.> b/c i KNOW I failed it *sigh*
at least it doesn't count for school

first of all,
hello friends!! :DDD

ok i'm really sorry for not posting ANYTHING that is worth people looking at these past months
after i came back from my vacation i had to deal with jetlag
and now school is starting
quite hectic, huh?

my parents think *cough*KNOW*cough* that i'm addicted to the computer
so i have a feeling they're going to be on patrol to prevent me from sitting at the comp for long periods of time
and then i have a piano exam in january
so that adds on to the busy

here's the deal that i've thought up of
i'll have to go to posting icons every other Friday instead
i know you guys hate me now
that is, if you like getting bases to work with >.<

onto the more funne stuff :DDD
my vacation was ok
i went to the JE shop there
(not exactly a JE shop; just people who wanna make some money selling their JE goods)
but EVERYTHING IS SO OVERPRICED
i was asked by a friend to see if things were worth buying (and then if they were, i'd buy it for her)
unfortunately they were extremely overpriced (not to mention i like to watch my wallet from far distances <.<) so i didn't get them

i watched the mini-documentary of the NEWS concert in Taipei
now i wonder if i should watch the pacific con documentary
or wait until i can watch the actual dvd with friends XP
ah i guess i'll wait......
...besides, i have to catch up on Bleach
gosh i haven't watched that for the entire vacation O.O
better catch up sometime

speaking of jpop
i've noticed that i'm getting into more Cpop
S.H.E. and Janice Vidal (衛蘭), mostly
if only TANK had more albums......well not like Janice has that many albums either
i wanna take a look at Michael Wong (王光良) too
i like his music style X]
but i've noticed that my jpop preference levels are dropping >.>
i don't know why
but i guess it's one of my many phases

VACATION!

yey i'm on vacation!!!
can anyone guess where i'm on vacation?
only like 2 people w/ livejournal accounts know where i'm going but i'm going to disqualify them from guessing XD
here's a hint: there are jdramas on tv where i'm on vacation but they're dubbed in a certain language
hana-kimi and 1 litre of tears is on tv XP
and my brother's trying to force me to watch the latter >:(
the taiwanese hana-kimi is on too...i think they're broadcasting them on at the same time for a weird reason >.> *suspicious*
oh yeah, there's also music station on cable where i'm living
except our subscription for cable tv ended so no more music station for me! ^^;;

but yes, how's everyone doing?
i'm doing fine :D

even though i still have to study on vacation <.< i guess it's better than going no where for vacation.....?
i still have to practise piano but the piano is an electric and i'm living in an apartment currently so i'm not allowed to turn up the sound so loud :(

if you haven't noticed alreayd, my agenda is to post some icons every week >.<
usually Friday-Saturday-ish....so you can stay tuned if you want to make icons
but lack motivation to find pics (don't worry i suffer from lack of motivation 99% of the time XD)
this time there are two sets of NEWS and "various juniors" lol
(i know the Fukka icons and the second Hasshi icon look out of place, but i felt bad for not posting them up XD)
(woops sorry the Sanada icon looks funny ^^" if you're using it you can open it in photoshop and then use the eyedropper tool to get the right colour and then colour that funny bit in. i know 99.999999% of those who reading this already KNOW how to use photoshop 10 times better than i can so i'll be quiet now -_-)
